Players: 6-8

Mars is under attack! Human colonizers have landed on Mars to claim it as their own! It’s up to the Martians to stop the humans and protect their home! This strategy-based card game takes up to 6-8 players. Players can either choose to play as the Martians (good guys) or the humans (bad guys).

At the start of the game, players can choose which Martian/human role they want, and are assigned a base card with special attacks. The following roles are listed below: (downloadable cards are available below:)

On their turn players have several options:

Attack: players can attack the opposing team to do HP damage

Stamina: Players have the option to draw one stamina card on their turn. Stamina cards are used for attacking the opposing team.

Every time a player attacks the opposing team, the stamina cards they used for that attack must be discarded

Players are only allowed to draw one stamina card on each turn

Promotion: Place a promotion chip over your base card, this upgrades your alien/human’s abilities and attack powers (requires more stamina cards). Play can get “promoted” three times, HP increases by 10 with each promotion.

Retreat: If a player runs very low on HP, they have the option to retreat from battle. If all three players on a team retreat from battle, their team loses.

Pass: players have the option to pass on their turn. This is highly recommended for the cards with limited moves

The goal of the game is to eliminate the opposing team’s HP (you want the Martians to win btw).
